The 19th of October saw the third annual Karting challenge held at the Andover Centre and turned into a fantastic and eventful event. The added spice for 2003 was the changing the event to a Team Challenge - 11/2 hours of mayhem!

Everybody arrived on time ha ha! - including those "ringers" who had karted before - thanks for the warning Ian to be briefed in the usual style - you know this is the track, this is a black flag (guess Nigel missed that one) with practice and qualification. Now the competition began.

Teams carried the names of World Superbike Teams:-

Team PSG1, Alstare Suzuki, Betocchi Kawasaki (Alan surprise, surprise)
Team GSE, Fila Ducati & Foggy Petronas.

And then the battle commenced……
Highlights……. Simon hanging over the wall with other teams numbers calling in rival drivers, Alan trying to ram Chris off the track, Nigel (don't stop under any conditions) Watts ignoring yellow lights red lights and 2 black flags - how he managed to continue who knows!

All in all everybody had a fantastic day and the Team competition with the PSG team of John, Terry, Ian and Steve (the ringer) winning.

3. Bertocchi Kawasaki 135 laps Alan's mob

5. Fila Ducati 128 laps Nigel (Black Flag)
6. Foggy Petronas 77 laps Gina's ladies and Simon
